Months after landing a modeling contract, Henry Samuel is reflecting on his famous parents’ career highlights.
While chatting exclusively with PEOPLE at the 2025 GQ Men of the Year Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Nov. 13, the 20-year-old son of Seal and Heidi Klum revealed his favorite moments from his supermodel mom and musician dad’s careers.
“Definitely Victoria’s Secret for my mom on the runway,” he says of Klum, 52, referring to her 11-year reign as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. “[In] the ’90s with Adriana Lima.”
“Definitely when he was performing [a tribute] for Prince,” he says, referring to the late “Purple Rain” singer, who died in 2016 at age 57. “I would guess that’s my favorite moment for my dad.”
Henry also shared how his parents — who are both known for their style — have encouraged him to experiment with fashion and self-expression.
“When I was growing up, I was always evolving with my style and just figuring out my own look or just how I feel in different clothing, but that evolved over time. So they were just telling me like, ‘Whatever makes you feel good, whatever can make you feel powerful, make you feel like whoever you want to feel,’ ” he explains.
In addition to Henry, Klum and Seal — who split in 2012 after nearly seven years of marriage — share Leni, 21, Johan, 18, and Lou, 16.
Henry is proudly following in his mom’s footsteps with a career in modeling. Back in January, he made his Paris Fashion Week runway debut, walking in the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show. Then, just months later, he landed his first magazine cover for Hunger.
In July, Henry signed a contract with NEXT Management. At the time, he said in a press release, “I’ve grown up around fashion and entertainment, but stepping into this world myself is a whole new experience. I’m grateful to Next Management for this opportunity and excited to learn, grow, and find my own voice in the industry.”
Now, Henry tells PEOPLE that his career is “going great” so far.

“I’m doing a little bit of stuff with YSL. I’m having fun with them right now. I’m doing all their beauty stuff and all their fragrances,” he reveals, teasing, “I have stuff coming more in the future with them — a lot more projects.”
He hopes to get an opportunity to work with his sister Leni, who is also a model, and step in front of the camera with his mom again. “I’ve worked with her on Elle magazine. But yeah, obviously I would love to do more,” he says.
