While fans of Helene Fischer (41) will have to do without the popular “Helene Fischer Show” this Christmas, there’s now a big surprise: The singer has apparently interrupted her maternity leave to participate in a TV show that will be broadcast during the Christmas season.

As initially reported by “Bild” and RTL, Fischer appeared at yesterday’s recording of the ARD show “Klein gegen Groß” with Kai Pflaume (58). According to “Bunte”, the host even shared a picture with Fischer on Instagram, though this was no longer available on Monday evening. The “Klein gegen Groß” episode is scheduled to air on December 13th on Das Erste.

Spokesperson confirms TV appearance

A spokesperson for Helene Fischer confirmed the rumors to the German Press Agency. The singer will reportedly present her new album titled “Die schönsten Kinderlieder – Winter- und Weihnachtszeit”, which will be released on November 28th, during the show. The “Klein gegen Groß” episode will air on December 13th on Das Erste.

In August, Helene Fischer had announced that after the birth of her second child, she wanted to “continue spending as much time as possible with my little family” for the rest of the year. For this reason, the singer also canceled this year’s edition of her “Helene Fischer Show”, which ran from 2011 to 2019 and 2023, as well as 2024 on Christmas Day on Das Erste.
