The baby break is over – at least for one evening. On Saturday, Helene Fischer (41) returned to television. On the ARD show “Klein gegen Groß”, the pop queen not only took on a musical duel and sang a new song, but also gave viewers rare insights into her private life.

Moderator Kai Pflaume (58) got straight to the point and congratulated his star guest on the birth of her second daughter this past summer. “I am completely, completely fulfilled”, Fischer then revealed. The family is “overwhelmed” by their happiness. Everyone is healthy, which makes her and her husband “maximally happy”.

Declaration of Love to Her Husband

The “Atemlos” interpreter therefore also found touching words for her partner Thomas Seitel (40). “I have the best husband”, Fischer gushed when Pflaume asked her about the support at home. The two have been a couple since 2018 and live a secluded life at Lake Ammer. They met during Fischer’s tour, where Seitel was part of the ensemble as an aerial acrobat.

In doing so, Fischer didn’t hide the fact that everyday life with two small children is quite demanding. Her first daughter was born in 2021, with the second girl following four years later. “These are new challenges: The second child brings new tasks with it”, the 41-year-old admitted. Nevertheless, she fully enjoys the time at home: “It’s wonderful to simply be at home.”

2026 Calls for the Big Stage

However, the break won’t last much longer. Next year, Fischer will start her “360° Stadion Tour”, a comeback for her 20th stage anniversary. “I’m also excited and looking forward to being able to slip into this role again”, she explained. At the same time, she’s aware of the challenge that awaits her: “It will be a big challenge for me – with two children. But others have managed this before me.”

The tour will take Fischer through Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Her fans had to do without the traditional “Helene Fischer Show” at Christmas time this year because of the new family member – in 2026, the big celebration should be all the more intense.

Christmas Spirit and a Special Duel

On “Klein gegen Groß”, Helene Fischer competed in the “Christmas Song Duel” against twelve-year-old Louise from Friedberg. The task: Recognize well-known Christmas songs only from short excerpts containing the word “Christmas”. After a neck-and-neck race, the student won in the tiebreaker. The singer promptly invited her to the tour and presented her with a hand-signed copy of her new children’s song album.

Musically, Fischer also treated the audience to a TV premiere: Together with singer-songwriter Rolf Zuckowski (78), she presented the song “Bald ist Weihnachten” for the first time, supported by the Hamburg children’s choir “Blankenäschen”.

In addition to Fischer, guests on the pre-recorded episode of “Klein gegen Groß” included Martina Hill, Moritz Bleibtreu, and Christoph Maria Herbst.
