Is that Carmela Soprano? Or maybe Elvira Hancock? No, it’s just Heidi Klum rocking the ultimately mob wife-coded hair. In a new photoshoot for Paper Magazine, the German model ditched her long, chunky blonde layers, in favor of a sleek, retro blowout that served up some serious gangster wife energy.

Celebrity stylist Dimitris Giannetos, who shared a snap of the look on Instagram, styled her hair in a deep side part, adding some volume on the top, and creating faux side bangs and finishing things off the silkiest, bounciest blowout. She paired the ‘do with a bright pink sweater set, pink pants, white heels, and a long gold chain necklace in true mob wife style. She also rocked a chunky brown bracelet and matching statement ring.
In the photoshoot, Klum poses with her daughter Leni and son Henry. Her other mob wife-coded looks inlcuded a lime green skirt suit, a leopard print maxidress, and a plunging blue silk dress.
“‘Mob wife blowout’ for beautiful @heidiklum On the new cover of @papermagazine,” wrote Giannetos alongside the images.

Klum tends to rock boho beachy waves, although last summer, she did switch things up, adding a set of choppy bangs to her signature look.
Of course, beachy waves do suit her ocean-loving lifestyle. Already this year, she has taken to Instagram to share snaps of a brown bikini, a red bikini, and a butter yellow bikini.

The mob wife aesthetic first took off about two years ago, with people all embracing the bad ass drama of TV and film’s fiercest mob wives—think lots of fur, gold jewelry, and, yes, big, bouncy hair. And if Klum has anything to say about it, the trend isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
