The duo were joined by fellow star Heidi Klum for the event, which honours excellence in international media and television, as well as figures with vision and creativity who affected and inspired the German public that year.

Cate, 56, put on a showstopping display in a dramatic lilac dress that was adorned with feathers as she posed on the red carpet.

The Oscar winner’s dress featured a revealing sheer skirt, and she teamed her outfit with white pointed-toe heels.

Meanwhile Naomi, 55, displayed her elegant sense of style in a form-fitting white gown with cut-out detailing.

The dress boasted a flowing fishtail skirt, with the model showcasing her famous figure in the gorgeous dress.

Cate’s attendance at the ceremony came ahead of accepting the International Actress award, while Cher is set to be honoured in the Legend category.

During an interview with Radio Times in April, Cate hesitated to define her job title before revealing she hopes to step away from the camera.

Cate insisted she had ‘a lot of things I want to do with my life’.

It’s not the first time that Cate has teased an eventual departure from acting, telling Vanity Fair in 2023 that she often contemplated the idea.

 She said: ‘It’s not occasional—it’s continual. On a daily or weekly basis, for sure.

‘It’s a love affair, isn’t it? So you do fall in and out of love with it, and you have to be seduced back into it.’
