Heidi Klum is once again showing off her fashion bonafides in a thoroughly bedazzled, completely backless purple dress. Courtesy of renowned Welsh designer Julien MacDonald, the disco-inspired pastel number featured multiple sheer panels and a matching sheer shawl trimmed in feathers. Klum selected the look for an equally fashionable day of work on the set of Germany’s Next Top Model, which she has produced, hosted, and judged since its 2006 debut.

Germany’s Next Top Model is based on America’s Next Top Model, the long-running reality competition hosted by Tyra Banks which aired its final season back in 2018. Banks has since joined Klum in Germany as a guest judge, as has Klum’s daughter Leni.

As for Klum’s sheer Julien MacDonald number, the veteran supermodel is no stranger to a daring ensemble. On the contrary, she frequently goes pantsless both on and off the red carpet and opts for lingerie-coded eveningwear. This past October, for example, Klum freed the nipple in a completely sheer lace dress during Paris Fashion Week. The Vetements number came with built-in gloves and left little to the imagination.

The naked dress was pulled straight from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway collection. Perhaps most importantly, Klum paired it with one very important accessory: underwear. She also debuted a platinum grill on her teeth for some added edge.
