Heidi Klum stepped out in a sculptural, optical illusion gown to accept an award at the 2025 Bambi Awards in Munich, Germany alongside other A-listers like Cate Blanchett, Cher, and Naomi Campbell.

On November 13, Klum headed to the Bambi Awards, which celebrate achievements in international media and television, as well as creative figures who have inspired the German public (per Hello!). Heidi’s strapless archival Elie Saab gown featured a dramatic train, a ruffled neckline, and pale pink embroidery along its bodice. She wore her blonde hair down and wore a smokey eye and a glossy lip.

Klum won her Bambi Award in the entertainment category for promoting diversity, with the organization saying that the supermodel “shows that success and humanity are not mutually exclusive.”

“With her energy, humor, and openness, she has long been a role model for generations who want to follow their own path,” the statement continued, adding that Klum “stands for an extraordinary career that extends far beyond the boundaries of the fashion and entertainment industry, and a lasting contribution to the promotion of diversity and social inclusion.”

“We celebrate Heidi Klum for what she has consistently demonstrated on set and in interviews over the years—discipline combined with lighthearted cheerfulness, professionalism combined with warm respect, and refreshing openness,” said Sophie Grützner, editor-in-chief of InStyle Germany and member of the Bambi jury.

Ever one for keeping it real, Klum, 52, said as she’s aged, “I’ve evolved a little bit, and I feel great in my skin—way more now than back then,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Accepting these changes is just the course of life. I have love handles, but I’m not even worried about it.”

“I love my job, I love always meeting people, I still love traveling the world, showing my kids things, and being in love,” she continued. Of husband Tom Kaulitz, she added, “I found my love later in life, and I’ve tried many times before, but now I’m super in love.”

“I’m very happy with the way things are right now,” she said.

Of dressing a certain way in her 50s, Klum told Glamour U.K., “Yes, I’m 50, but I’m far from dead! I just love colorful, loud things. Maybe that will change at some point—but ultimately it will be my decision.”

“Some people might find such an attitude stupid, others might find it inspiring,” she said elsewhere in the interview. “It’s my life.”
